AI computer access

Let your AI work on the computer where your files and tools already are.

RelayDesk connects a computer you choose to your AI assistant. You can then ask the AI to work with files, run commands, check logs or inspect a project on that machine without constantly uploading files and copying results back and forth.

What that means in practice

RelayDesk is not screen sharing. It gives your AI a controlled way to perform useful actions on a paired computer.

  • Read, create, move and edit normal files and folders.
  • Run commands, builds, tests and tools already installed on the computer.
  • Check running processes, logs and command output.
  • Search local files and continue longer-running work.
  • Reach a paired laptop, server or VM when you are somewhere else.

Useful when the work already lives on a machine

A project may have local changes, downloaded assets, installed tools, service logs or long-running processes that do not exist inside a chat window. RelayDesk lets the AI work with that real state instead of making you recreate it elsewhere.

Your device is still your boundary

RelayDesk allows normal work on the computer while separately protecting recognized credentials, private keys, browser credential stores and other sensitive locations. You can also narrow local file access further when needed.
